Happy New Year People! Yesh I know I missed the NY’s New Year, but hey! it IS ~~Chinese~~ New Year tomorrow so I guess it’s all the same right? :P

2012 have been great for me so far ~~till last two days where I fell sick with fever. DANG.~~ But good news is I got 2 days MC ~~wtf shhhh~~ and a flatter tummy? LMAO

Well it’s only the 22nd day of the new year and I’ve already done a few happy things that I would happily cross out for the resolution list of 2012 ~~that I have yet to make till 5 seconds ago~~!

3. ~~Meet~~ ~~The Bros~~! (I finally met Ernest from Bro, Don’t Like That La, Bro 2 weeks ago to grab my comic artist collab calendar. It was really awesome to finally see ONE of the bros materialize in front of you, like woah! this guy really exists! He’s no drawing LOL. Can’t wait to meet the rest of the bunch. You guys should really go read their comics (links in blue!). I guarantee you’ll laugh your ass off ~~especially to Daryl & Jon’s antiques (the Crocodile hides in the wadaaaa~! za-zah!).~~ Sorry Ernest if you think I asked too many questions. I was really excited. Really. :D

Honestly speaking, I think that the organizers have some buck ups to do (that’s for you Tune Talk)

1. The change of venue was not informed well enough. I had a friend who didn’t know at all till the moment she called me at 5pm that day itself.

2. Heard from Jakeman on Hitz.fm that the time changed to 7pm instead of 8pm only ON THAT DAY itself.

3. WHY THE HELL DO YOU MAKE US WAIT FROM 7PM – 9.45PM before allowing us to enter without explanation?!

4. I’m confused with the line-ups. No DJ Crystal or DJ Ken. What happened?

Thank God the music, ambiance, DJs (Jakeman & Skeletor, DJ Junior & Mr Hottie ~~who I UNFORTUNATELY did not catch his name,~~ and of course FEM themselves were awesome!

The Crowd was wild though it did started out a little slow, getting warmed up with the music and the free standing spots and our Cokes :P

“Mr Poyo the hottie” (if any of you know his name, Please lemme know! : D) spraying Champagne and Vodka to the crowd. He even passed them to the people to have a few sips! wtf

Jakeman & Skeletor was awesome spinning hits that reminded me of school days!

I am OMG Nikon

Yesterday ~~or more like the day before yesterday since it’s already pass 12am~~ me and my family went out for an outing, since little Brayden came over for a sleepover here (rawr nightmare at times).

So initially I had my dad to head on to Jaya One for the #dontduckit breast cancer awareness campaign and I nailed it. Off we went to the place and we were there around 2pm approximately and guess what? the place was close to empty. Like seriously. We took a walk around, probably we missed out some venues I dunno, and pretty much most of the people were in the bars and/or The Bees Cafe for a booze/drink. No familiar face, no attendees. I guess I was too early. hmmm.

Seeing that, Dad decided to leave.

Then we detoured to Mid Valley instead!

Walked around and saw this omg huge Road Show by Nikon *cues DSLR/Camera fan girl scream!* at the centre court and what awesomeness the amount of cameras and lenses they brought out this time.

The whole range of compact cam, DSLRs, lenses and accessories were sold at the venue, and that they even have a booth to perform sensor cleaning for those Nikon cams.

In addition of promoting their new Nikon J1 & V1, they have tons of photos taken with Nikon cameras by the Nikon Club members posted up on them walls. And they were spamming kids with their yello balloons!

It was so packed and with the kiddo I couldn’t take much piccie on the whole event but I DID took an important part, CAMHO!

Sis also joined along, though the whole grabbing his boobie idea was from here, she malu malu kucing and instead only posed with Spidey innocently. (Cartoon face is the real expression!)

After awhile of walking around. I noticed that there’s this competition here where you grab on to like statement boards and take a picture with it in the running to win the awesome J1 camera for the Grand Prize!

Then I thought, why not? it’s not that it requires a purchase, I mean I get to have a professional photographer to photograph me leh! So I ran though all the signs and well, practiced!

Then sis and me say this guy at the cleaning booth testing out this huge ass camera after the sensor clean and we were literally ogling at him. I guess he noticed cuz next thing we know, he pointed the huge ass gun towards us and snapped a few piccie O_O

I swore I turned away so fast I could have turned my head 360 degrees. Unlike my sister who posed immediately =_=

Then again, they displayed quite alot of huge ass lenses and even had demo sets of huge huge humongous lens attached with a camera. i forgot to take a picture of them! Dammit. hafta stop drooling over them and concentrate!

After all these havoc.. no wait, before all these havoc (cuz we went two rounds before we ate and after we ate) we had dinner at the food court upstairs with a heavenly mashed potatoes, a half grilled chicken, two overly priced Yong Tau Fu (both bowls for like RM25++ wtf got only noodles, beancurds and mushrooms) and Snowflakes Bestsellers! omnoms! But then ah, the Taro Balls in Mid Valley’s Snowflakes so SHMALL! wtf

I’d rather go Subang SS15 there eat =_=

Moon Dog Halo

Twas the night thou was out seeking companionship with thy buds. Upon arrival at thy home, appears a magical halo from Thee.

Ahhh.. Ain’t that one beautiful view from thy angle. I know I know I may be abusing ancient English but hey no harm trying ~~not to spoil ancient English~~ to speak ancient English.

Well, ancient or not, this moon dog (God knows why it’s called a moon dog) kinda brought back my picca side of me. Haven’t been having the rush of excitement screaming “bring the camera!” “bring the camera!” when I’ve seen something.

Twas this was happening I was immediately on the road outside leaning close to 160 degrees trying ta fill the halo into my camera screen. Not only that, I used the slow shutter to get the bright enough photo; which means I was practically trying so hard not to shiver ~~I am NO exercise junkie so my abs ain’t that strong. I think after this it leveled up +1 on the muscle LMAOs~~ and was holding the camera as still as I could. Nope no tripod. too lazy to go take

I must’ve looked silly but I love the outcome. ~~they called it~~ Camera flare. Rainbow effect. *blinks blinks* ~~honestly I see no rainbow XD~~

Then I saw something that it’s as if Thee’s way of telling everyone to get have s*x.

Real Steel Premier Screening #TTRealSteel

So yesterday thanks to Churp Churp, courtesy of Tunetalk, I’ve got a pair of tickets to the premiere screening of Real Steel starring Hugh Jackman (DROOLS) and Evangeline Lilly and Dakota Goyo ~~Interesting name I have no idea where’s he from hmmm~~

So basically Real Steel is about this father, Charlie (Hugh Jackman) a washed out boxer, making a living in the underground robot boxing ring, and his son, Max, who has been separated cuz Charlie ~~abandoned/sold/left~~ released all custody to his ex girlfie, rebond together with each other after the death of Max’s mum through, well robot boxing.

I must say this movie is a must watch cuz not only they have great script ~~ESPECIALLY Max. He is good,~~ the storyline was amazing. I expected this to be an action focused movie but it actually weighted both action and a heartfelt story equally.

I laughed and “Awwhh” alot, heck I even cheered for Atom when he won!

I rate this 8.5 out of 10. Must watch I say. Eventhough I got the seats which was the second from the front ~~FML~~ Thanks to GSC Paviliion’s awesome huge seats, I didn’t even get ANY stiff neck.

I’d watch this for the second time.

Oh did I mention, this time they even gave free popcorns and Coke! ~~which I sat on cuz I didn’t notice them on the seat as it was dark~~ wooops!

Where’d you go?

We were chatting really well this afternoon, laughing while I tease her like always. She complimented my RM10 laced top that I bought from Times Square early this year. Then we had Pauhib teasing her, asking if she wants to wear something like that too. And I told her that she should wear something sexayh like that. lols. She told us that she never wore something like that before, lacey with spaghetti strap. It tickled me.

I saw the glitter, the shine in her eyes when we arrived, especially with the kiddo along (like literally). She was really excited, and started to tell us about his elder brother and how smart and witty he is in speaking, comparing this little guy here with him. We told her he’s only a year old so cannot expect much mah.. Still small. Then she goes on telling us how she don’t remember how to pronounce both the boys’ names. (told her it’s Jay Jay & Jun Jun but she asked for the English name instead LOLs LMAO) Oh and that includes their dad’s. Apparently she never called him by name till now. LOLs.

As usual again, every time we arrive and she’s eating halfway, she’d go all embarrassed and shy and would immediately say she’s full and refuse to eat any more. I could not really fathom why but I guess she’s just being really “hak hei” towards us ~~which is weird cuz what’s there to hak hei lah aiyoo~~. She was about to finish, I mean with her condition, she’s really a superwoman in eating normally already cuz I doubt I can eat with all of my teeth gone, seriously; where was I? oh yeah, so then she refused to continue eating, stating that she’s already full and quickly got Pauhib to clear the table. And funny part was that she hit Pauhib on her hand cuz Pauhib didn’t go get that biscuit ~~it was so cute the way she pronounced it “biz kuit”~~ for me (which I insisted that I didn’t want).

Then in a soft solemn voice she merely whispered that it has been awhile since we’ve been there. She asked if I didn’t have work today. Told her today was my off day this week. She asked what I’m selling currently on my job (O-O) I’m like I work in office liao loh.. Very long ady.. “boh buey ming gia liao” (Translated as no longer selling stuffs in Hokkien). Suddenly my proficiency in hokkien leveled up to level 15 from level 5 wtfbbq.

As usual she tried shoving biscuits and breads and whatever foodstuffs that she have to us. Kept asking me to eat, asking dad if he wants coffee. Funny habit of her. Always worried we’re hungry or underfed but at the same time she wouldn’t eat herself. Sometimes I’ll just take the can just for the sake of getting her to stop shoving the bis kuits into my face ~~which usually ends up with me actually eating them =_=~~

Then after awhile, that small kiddo started to make noise, whining and restless. Keeps pointing outside to my dad. So I guess we had to leave. Mum and dad told her we’re gonna have to leave already and went to get the car with that ~~noisy~~ boy.

Me, sitting beside her, I held her hand and told her that I’m gonna leave now and we’ll be back to visit again. She held on my hand. With a longing grip. With the almost glassy eyes looking at me. She asked why do we have to leave so early. I couldn’t explain how I felt at that point of time. The force of her grip, her eyes, I couldn’t respond. I just sat there and held on to her hand, gave her a squeeze, and after a moment I tried explaining that the boy is making a fuss already and we have to leave, told her we’ll be back again.

But I didn’t want to leave her like that. I wanted to tear looking at her react like that. What are we doing? She don’t need the hoo-hah, she don’t need the publicity of her needs, she don’t need the social network coverage, she needs the real flesh and blood of ours. Our presence, not only by being there in the physical house, but to sit by her, talk to her, hold her hand, story her on our life routines and she’ll be contented.

I always hold her hands when I talk to her, but this time it just felt really filled with emotions. She held on tight, not willing to let me leave. Her longing in her eyes for us to stay longer, her sadness and loneliness in her eyes. No wonder people said the eyes are the windows to the soul, the heart. Today I saw them.

I guess it’s no longer the time to point fingers. I guess we do need reminders from time to time, to remind us who’s waiting for us to go say “amah, chiak bah beh?” (Grannie, Have you eaten?) She didn’t live up to the 90s+ to be lonely without her loved ones.

What others choose to do doesn’t matter much anymore. I guess it’s time instead for US to choose what WE should do and do it. Rather more efficient like that huh?

Amah, I’m sorry I wasn’t there often enough for you.

Oh Fright Night

So last night thanks to Nuffnang and Disney I’ve gotten myself a pair of premier screening tickets to watch Fright Night at e@curve!

And to top it off, it’s my first time driving on my own to Damansara! Sheesh I know nuts on the way there though I know I’ve been there so many times for movie screening but I still didn’t bother to take note on how to go there

Since I couldn’t find anyone to go with ~~more like I procrastinated till it’s too late~~ I went with my sis and we had dinner at Ikea ~~SWEEDISH MEAT BALLS~~ and bumped into quite a number of bloggers this time. It’s been awhile since I’ve actually seen so many of the familiar faces~

Oh even met Kenwooi there ~~He recognizes me!~~ Tho didn’t see barbie there

Summary of the movie is that this new neighbor who moved in happens to be a vampire who’s eating everyone in the neighborhood. Boy got curious and nosy, vampire got pissed, let the war begin!

Now the movie was okay. Not much of a hoo-hah, not much, BUT it was entertaining enough. Funny punch lines, okay storyline. Actually I was surprised that this DISNEY movie (read Mickey Mouse) has SO MUCH SWEAR WORDS. like seriously!

Rather classic vampire movie, no freakingly handsome vampires who have killing stares or SPARKLY FACE UNDER THE SUNLIGHT. This vampire is actually scared of the light! Good for you! old school vampire nails and turns, except those ~~very~~ fake blood splashes. Dammit can’t do better meh? so fake gosh.

Verdict would be : 6/10

Downloadable movie. You could watch in the cinemas but don’t expect too much from the storyline. Oh but how Amy got turned, HOT

Just a simple wish of Happy Merdeka Malaysians!

You know how we people, whether we try or not, will mention or state and repeat the fact that Malaysia is a multi cultural country. I find it really funny especially how we try NOT to segregate and differentiate. But then again, you can say that that’s rather what makes us who we are, don’t cha think. The fact that we acknowledge the diversity and the multi-ness ~~I totally just made that word up~~ of us and as hard as we would try to differentiate and claim ownage ~~Natural instincts I guess~~ we eventually realize that it’s rather difficult at some point cuz we assimilate so much of every culture that all also rojak ady. But instead of rojak, why not call it Malaysian?

Why struggle so hard against the current when the destination is at the other end behind us?

As clichéd as it is, I’m proud to be a Malaysian,

Proud of the food

Proud of the fact that I can speak multiple language ~~does sarcasm counts?~~

Proud that I could understand the lingo when I speak to others.

Proud that I don’t find it weird if I hang with people other than my own race. ~~I can’t understand why is there still people who find it weirdd!~~

Penang | Astro Star Quest 2011 Final (Lazy Post)

Yes this will be a lazy post so be prepared for a unfinished short pointless post.

So I was in Penang last weekend with my college peeps ~~actually you could say it’s ex college peeps since I’ve graduated like 2 years plus?~~ to go support my friend Miko at the Astro’s Star Quest Finals woots! And yeah we hooled up 6 of us and drove a car ALL THE FARKING WAY 200KM++ to PENANG. ~~My first time driving long distance AND driving over 80km/hrs! weeee~~~

What is it you ask? well it’s a annual singing competition by Astro which started months ago. Some sort like American Idol, and the winners are to continue competing in Taiwan later on after this round is over.

So yeah it was the finals and there’s 5 finalist and aren’t they awesome!

They all performed really well except for the Autumn and Winter theme ones, some of them were rather blah~ (The competition was segregated into 4 main rounds based on the 4 seasons) but I was really entertained at the concert!

Oh did I mention I got VIP tickets which means I was sitting real close to the stage ~~sadly/FORTUNATELY not the mosh pits~~

We were THAT of a fan we actually put up her banners at the back of our car on the way home to Klang!

Well we were really crazy that we kinda started talking to that photo of hers while in the car. Epic Boredom.

But yeah, in the finals after all the performance and the gan cheong first and second round elimination, Miko ended up with the 3rd placing in the competition with the 2nd place won by Jie Ying and Winner; Geraldine.

Honestly I believe that all three ladies were good in their own scope of singing, what differs them is the song choice cause the DID have awesome performances and everything.

Nevertheless, I’m really proud of you Miko cause you know you got the talent and you’ve gone THIS far! Jia you in Taiwan and let’s get you to be the winner of the Taiwan phase competition!

Imagine going to a place filled with nothing but flowers and more flowers and even better roses! Yes it may sound like a scene only from those Korean and Japanese drama but hey there is one place now in Malaysia where you can experience such flowery event!

Happening at Pesisiran Tasik, Presint 2, Putrajaya from the 9th till 17th July 2011 is Malaysia’s very own Floria 2011 Floral Festival. Organizing this annual event since 2007, they have come back with the theme “Mawar untuk Selamanya” or “Roses are Forever” where we have tons of roses of all shapes and sizes arranged into beautiful landscape gardens as well as creative arrangements reflecting our country’s large variety of flowers and plants.

What to do there you ask? well there’s the biggest rose exhibition, with over 12,000 rose plants of different species with almost more than 60 varieties of them roses,

15 gardens and floral arrangement from countries all over the world like New Zealand, United Kingdom, US, Hong Kong, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Pakistan, Kenya, Indonesia, Macao, Thailand, China AND Singapore.

Also, there would be 50 stalls selling all kinds of gardening tools and products, 55 tents of local handcrafts and art products AND 40 food and drink stalls to quench your thirst and that hungry tummy after the long walk! So no worries on a hungry tummy or thirsty you.

Now apart from all that, let me tell you the main activity for you artsy fartsy photobugs because besides all the leisure walk and sight seeing, you can also participate in the Photography Competition! Chik Chak! Why waste all the efforts in just taking those awesome photos of those roses? Get them to be admired and get paid!

Oh me Oh my I’m 21.

Yesh you might think that I’m still not over with the fact that I’ve reached 21 but yeah! I mean it IS something to talk about for the next 365 & 1/4 days ~~cause I’ll be 21 for the rest of those days~~ and like it or not I’ll just keep reminding you how young and carefree being 21 is!

The perks of being 21 :

#1 I am basically legal for every single thing that has an age limit as the”un-legal” factor ~~dowana use illegal cuz it’s not exactly illegal it’s just NOT legal~~.

#2 I get to legally with chins up, ~~minus the sneak in criminal style thingy~~ heads up high enter the casino in Genting! ~~and Las Vegas and Macau~~ and win all the money I could spend ~~which of course is awesome if I only win and not lose at all~~! weee!

#3 er.. I get to vote? Go Parti Pisang!

Well okays maybe there’s nothing really much about being 21 except that

#1 you are being called old now

#2 you are expected to ACT 21. ie maturedly

#3 You have are dog chained around your neck with a key tag and the number 21 there ~~how parents were afraid that people dunno their kid already 21 years OLD~~

#4 You’re old. Yeah you. I’m young.

Funny bones aside, well existing for nearly 21 years is a real blessing for me, of course I thank God for allowing this toy of yours to still stay on the board of the game.

Last night when I slept, I had these flashback on how I’ve grown over the years. From being this timid little girl to a pretty much less timid and more loudly declare-fying ladeyh.

From this 10 year old shy girl who' feels that touching a guy *hand brushed or whatever that is minor minor besides a handshake* is nonsensical and cannot be tolerated as it is defined as a undercover molestation of us girls’ dignity to being really open minded on how the world works nowadays, feeling almost numb and neutral ~~and surprisingly mature~~ over issues like sex and relationships.

Yes I remember how I was the happily ever after person who believes in forever and ever and love only comes once ~~which sometimes I’d like to still believe that since I still have not find “the one”~~ I used to differentiate liking and loving so clearly that I was VERY convinced that I only liked my ex boyfriend and never loved him ~~prolly watch too much of american movies/dramas (Charmed!!) that I got the whole dating idea in my head and love is a serious commitment pre-requisite matter.~~

Now yes I still believe in love. And I also believe that people CAN date and only date without the love coming in. I don’t know about falling in love ~~yes still quite particular in the love matter~~ but I have did felt awfully hurt both physically and emotionally (with literal heart pains) before which I dunno if it could be a sign that I DID fell in love or that I just got hurt over something that I could not keep.

Though many things that may have changed, my attitude, my social skills ~~LMFAO~~ and what not, but I think my lack of self assurance and self confidence still is stuck here in me. The lack of self affirmation and the strength is still not dug out. As much as I have convinced myself that I’m there and that I know what I want to be and where I wanna be, I pretty much am still beating around the bush.

But nevertheless I know I HAVE grown over the years. I am brave to do things that I never thought I’d face and I am proud of myself somehow.

If I suddenly wake up and find myself 13 again, I may not change my choices in life. Maybe I would change the way I do things but I really wouldn’t mind going through the same things again, knowing the same people all over again.

But if I WERE to change my mind, I’d probably be in New Zealand now. OR in Nottingham doing my degree. Working my ass off for exams. hmm.. THAT I might would reconsider choosing.

Cai Hong did this birthday post for me (see it here) and she commented that I am a very honest nice blogger and really, that was sweet of her, but that at the same time makes me think if everyone does think of me that way.

I believe one way of growing up is to know what people think of you. My supervisors look up to me so well that sometimes I don’t believe it. LOL. That one day when I decided to be firmer in my standings and distributed my work, I felt like I’m being looked at as a bitchy bossy person. But I know I should never think like that or I’d never succeed in being a leader.

That I must change.

Being 21, which means that I have had 21 years of knowing people, having known 505 friends ~~well at least that’s based on facebook~~ Somehow or rather I’m just attached to these few people in my life.

Knowing them for like what? almost a decade just sounds ridiculous cuz I still feel like we are still those kiddos in form 2, playing Pokemon and those funny games we drew on our exercise books and titik-titik game. I’m grateful that eventhough we changed a lot, we still revert back to out children self when in each other’s company. We’ve seen each other in laughter and tears, good and bad ~~and maybe unexpected times too~~ times. Another thing I’m grateful. And plus the fact that they would layan me bitching around and reply to all my nonsense ^^

Mom and dad. Oh and of course dear sis. They’ve stood up to 21 years of my nonsense, listening to my school bff dramas and ~~recently~~ about boys ~~when I finally told my dad all the boy issues I faced during school times lol~~ , about teachers and about all my insecureness. I know me and my parents are not as open as some of you may be ~~and sometimes it just makes me feel lonely cuz once my besties are gone I have no one to turn to but my pillow.~~ But you both were still there whenever I need you.

Thanks mum for being so thrifty to save all the money we can save and to keep everything at home in order so that we could do everything we want ~~though yes I know I still piss you off sometimes.~~ She’s more of the iron lady type and she’s really shy like that ~~not much of a PDA person~~ lol. so I thought I might just write it here to let her know somehow ~~if she happens to read this~~ on how exactly I feel for her. She knows I love her. just that probably it’s just how we were brought up that there sometimes is a gap. MUM I WANT TO BE PAMPERED! I know I’m a naughty daughter. But sometimes all I want is to snuggle on her lap and make her treat me like a 5 year old again. LOL I know I’m kinda LOA (that’s Lack of attention for you mum if you don’t get acronyms).

Dad was the real shrink in the house cuz he basically talks to us and install all those life philosophy in our OS all through the years of growing up. And I would very much want to believe that thanks to all those talks on life, learning, attitude, & relationships. I am proudly who I am today because of him. Even I am surprised on how maturedly I could embrace criticism and obstacles in life. How brave I was to deal with relationships and whatnot. And I am glad that I did leave my dad’s heart in peace with him knowing that I would not do any nonsensical things that would doom my future. I’m grateful that he trust me enough to not put a curfew on me. As much as curfews might not mean anything to you but the feeling of the trust your parents give to you JUST by not putting a curfew is really heart-touching. Seriously.

Really this was supposed to be a full photo post but I guess I was just suddenly overwhelmed with feelings of turning 21 ~~someway somesort I turned emo~~ but yeah I guess the full photo post gotta wait again LOL

So really. 21 doesn’t really make any difference. Nothing much of a significant thing. just another birthday. While I was trying to look for the significance in it, all the topic above just came upon me. And so I’ll just write all of it down and be emo lol.

I sometimes wonder what EXACTLY does a 21 year old SHOULD be achieving by now, seeing people with career already, own business, family, a life. Nowadays things are just so advanced and forward that there’s no longer time to take time to comprehend and youngsters just cannot fathom the direction anymore.

Maybe I really just need to grow up?

Yeap it’s the 29th of May which means I’ve turned 21 and survived another year of existence! Experience +1

So It’s 3.18pm and I just woke up an hour + ago, Haven’t ate my Lunch, Trolling facebook, being left at home alone, with the hot blazing sun outside making me NOT wanting to go out makan.

So yeah awesome 21st birthday celebration ~~I’m supposed to be at Genting now~~

Anyway I DID had a nice outing with the college peeps, both Senior and Junior batch. Camwhored a lot ~~Gotta get my hands on Alrin! All nice photos in his DSLR!~~

Thanks to Zheng Qian, Loo, Lian Yew, Derek, Sarah, Yen Yen, Wai Meng, Jack, Elaine, Xhie Hweai ~~who apparently sacrificed her sleep and assignment time~~ and Alrin for the cake and all ^^

Came home at about 1230am, hung out with family ~~well dad was playing Cityville while hanging out~~. Trolled more facebook, chatted, and slept at like what? 4.30am? XD

So here I am, sitting in front of the lappie, blogging, being hungry but too puteri lilin to go out under the sun.

Sometimes it’s just like that. I don’t know what I‘m thinking and what I’m doing. I’ve always thought that it’s okay but after it happens a tsunami of thoughts just flood through my mind non-stop Judging, Screwing, Reminiscing, slicing though each and every part of my brains reminding me where I stand, Comparing.

And then I get the Obsolete stamp.

I guess it’s just a way to grow up.

I’m meeting people, I fell for some, I hated some, I Loved a lot.

It’s even funnier how people you know might not just be the person you thought they are, though it HAD been years since we’ve known each other. One day out of nowhere they might just come out of nowhere and ask a question. A VERY disturbing question. And as it disturbs you, you compelled into it and it brings realization of something that you did not notice at all.

The difference, the feelings, the memories.

The tear it brings. The joy that was.

Out of nowhere I just feel like crying.

I feel like I’ve lost my way, the shoulders I had to cry on.

I am alone.

alone in the dark dark dark room.

And it may sound ridiculous I know.

I don’t know how anymore. I just needed to pour things out, but I couldn’t explain. I couldn’t tell you why. But all I want is just that. To Tell, to talk. And see your face looking back to me telling me that I’m just being silly and things are gonna be alright. No one’s going to judge, and you know very well yourself that.

I’d wish I could go back to December and turn around and change my own mind.

It’s funny I just realized that within 24 hours I have put on 4 different hair styles from last night till right now LOL

Hair #1 was the OMFG I AM SO HOT I NEED TO SHOWER

As said last night was like so freaking hot I was THAT close to go for a cold shower at 2am but my dad screamed at me.

So what happens when the temperature rises?

Nope no hair was let down AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ~~unless you’re in an air conditioned room that is.~~

Hair #2 was the HAIR #1 DESTROYED MY HAIR HAIR BACK UP!

LIGHT BULB!

Because of ALL the heat I tied up my hair and made sure it didn’t come lose which caused my hair to be all curled up in a VERY funny manner I cannot tahan I tied it all up!

It’s like during kiddo time where my hair was still all long and straight and when we want abit of a twist, I’d ask my mum to tie French Braids or just normal braids and sleep with it. Next day walah! CURLS!

Okay I KNOW this is like real late cause this movie like came out last year (I think) but I only recently ~~found the semangat to~~ download and ZOMGWTFBBQ I so freaking love this movie! ESPECIALLY THE MINIONS!

Plus I love the soundtrack. Especially the Despicable me. So cool LOL

I’m gonna skip all the rantings and daun kerings that I’ve planned to write cause I’ve typed and erased and retyped this post since yesterday and I guess I just couldn’t go on so I’m gonna just go lite and post cheery instead!

Oh and did I mention that the MOON is so FREAKING Bright today?

I tell you I have this soft spot for the moon and the stars. I remember back when I was a kid I used to stand outside my house and lean on the wall, looking into the sky at night just admiring the beauty of the moon and the stars.

I’d count the stars and spot shapes that could be formed. I’d just stare at the moon and smile myself silly. Mum used to think I was nuts to stand in the dark outside feeding mosquitoes but then I’ll always ignore her.

When I grew up ~~as in teenager till now~~ I still do that, though alil lesser especially since my front lawn was renovated cause there’s an awning installed now ~~meaning there’s no open holes for me to look up T_T~~ but tonight I was REALLY happy cause after I took the garbage out I looked up ~~on habit~~ and OMG there it is the bright round moon, cloudless night, semi-twilight sky on the opposite side, SO MANY STARS!

Last Thursday I’ve FINALYY received my parcel containing the awesomest most worth buying tees I’ve ever purchased! ~~SERIOSULY! I sound so advertorial but oh I wouldn’t mind if hometoomuch wants to gimme another tee!~~

Through Groupsmore I’ve got to know hometoomuch (their facebook here) and I’ve purchased this voucher so the very last minute ~~I banked in the cash like at 1145pm, 15mins before the deal goes off LMAO~~.

Last two days was like the one day after years ~~okay maybe I over-exaggerate alil~~ since the last I’ve went out for a full day outing (which is like from 11am – 12am) and boy I can feel the oldness creeping in LMAO

SO yeah me and my college buddies went for this early morning karaoke session and for a moment I thought we were early but turns out the place was already filled by the time we were there (ie 11am) like wtf are all of you doing early in the morn in a karaoke centre you sing-song junkies!

so ANYWAYS

Me, Wai Meng, Jack, Elaine and Sarah got ourselves a ~~karaoke~~ room and things were alil damp at first cause I guess we were *cough cough* shy but then slowly the mic conquering got over us and we were cat fighting over the mics! ~~yesh over exaggerating again~~

The thing about singing k is that it’s so freaking therapeutic that after a few emo songs like “Don’t wanna miss a thing” – Aerosmith, “It’s my life”- Bon Jovi, “The Reason”-Hoobastank and of course “~~Lau Hui~~ I mean Bleeding Love”- by oh shit I forgot her name @@.

It’s nice to scream out the bad energy and make a fool of yourself by SS-ing around with the uber loud mic ~~the room is a closed area for a reason you know~~

After the k-session which is about 2pm ~~we got halau-ed with the Thank you screen~~, we have like 5hours plus before Derek’s birthday party, which was like at 7.30pm, so we thought hey! lets go watch a movie! And the movie of the day was…..

And ratings for this movie, 5/10 which is an average lahh.

though the first 3 movie was hilarious, I guess it kinda mellowed down alil already but though the songs in the movie is not bad.. Overall it’s okay lah. not much of a big hoo-hah.

After movies we went present hunting and ~~SHIT I FORGOT TO TAKE A PICCIE OF THE PRESENT WE BOUGHT! FML~~ for Derek and got him a funky colored huge earphones! We went to SnJ for the gift wrapper ~~damn they charge for wrapping service now!~~ and then we went to Popular to *cough* borrow *cough* marker pen to write on it. To think back we were so silly! we could’ve pinjam from SnJ only right.. since we were already paying for the wrapping then =_= total PHAIL-NESS.

So yeah after all that hoo-hah, Mr KS and J came to JJ and off we go for Derek’s place! and we were actually freaking early there that we’re the first guests! 1/2 early weih.. imagine..

BUT! Early has it’s ups cause I had this awesome piccie of zi pokeys!

What’s your problem lah?

Life’s been alil busy around, I feel like I’ve been drained out of my youth and gotten old and low in stamina these few days ~~Heck I think I gotta go for a jog like soon!~~ and thus this explains the hiatus from my blog. Apologies apologies as much as I want to update as regularly as I could ~~seriously I feel so sad that my blog is so dead without updates.~~

Oh and I’ve just read this post from Ka Seng ~~hahaha funny to be calling you Ka Seng :P~~ about how blogs used to be created out of the interest of being in the “IN” group and getting those anonymous visits by the thousands feeling like one of the oh-so-fehmes bloggers.

He mentioned about things like being recognized at events by strangers till now how we’ve been “out of my blogging mojo”, struggling to update regularly, losing interest in the commitment of trying to dig and edit and post random rants and photos to keep the flow coming in.

Laughing to his post I remember back during the time when I started, I started with no creative juice at all, blogging because I’ve found a new medium to release myself. And slowly I’ve met something call randomity and photography and yes, I too went through those “processes” and more.

THEN, to compare the me when I started blogging and the me now, I’ve noticed how I’ve grown in a way that I no longer am who I was before. ~~Here comes the emo-ing and whining~~

I no longer try my best to run away from strangers who MAY actually recognize me.

I no longer take ~~most~~ things for granted, appreciating the value of what comes in my life, EXPRESSING how I feel towards the existence of the item/person/event

I’ve learnt Patience, Determination, Optimism, “Use Your Brain!”, and the way of life. I’ve learnt to CHOOSE, to Decide, to Accept, to Forget, to Apologize.

Throughout the year I’ve met awesome people, experienced magic, experience what it feels like going with the flow, BELIEVING that things CAN work out, and when it didn’t, I’ve met optimism, and perspective.

I’ve appreciated many knowings. Acquaintances, Love, Friendship, Guidance, Opportunity.

Regretted few.

Few mistaken steps. Few unsuccessful dreams, plans. Few things that I have to let go.

People doubting me all the time, asking me, forcing me to decide, to answer, to determine, to judge. Sometimes ~~or maybe all the time~~ you just feel like pulling their head off their neck every single time they ask you that one question that never seem to be bored of like AT ALL.

“So not gonna go back studying?”
“What about degree?”
“Why you don’t wanna go work in your field? There can earn more wad.”
“Aiyo you join that field ah? what you do there? Gaji how many k? Enough meh?”
“Study so many years ady switch field so wasting money”

I somewhat feel so wanna be anti social already and not see them people who ask those questions. Just keep my mouth shut and earn all then money that I’m earning whether you think I should or shouldn’t be doing right now,

It feels so different, having the taste of responsibility, that what I’m doing now help pay bills. Where the money I spent is from my own sweat ~~or maybe more of lack of sleep, dry skin, blurry eyes from staring at the screen~~ and seeing my own saving stack up.

I feel excited, knowing I can give my parents hundreds every month and still have balance to spend for movies and drinks!

Of course I wanna go study, why wouldn’t I wanna go enjoy life, just ready up a few things, learn stuffs from books and write 5000 words essays while lepaking around college instead of being stuck 9 to 5 ~~no wait it’s 830 to 6 actually~~ in an office in front of an 32” Screen doing nonsensical jobs getting stressed up cause of all the complicated subjective technical knowledge.

But the obligations, the comparisons, judgments, the sense of wanting to contribute instead of extracting and consuming,

I’ve chosen a path now. And I dowana just leave halfway.

It doesn’t feel good at all, leaving half way. It shows how indecisive, how vulnerable I could be.

~~I know the whole post is like a discontinuation of one another but just bear with my spontaneous outburst of mixed thought kthxbai~~

So yeah I hate when you come to me and say that I’m a failure, I’m a waste, I’m an unappreciative girl. I want to prove you so much that MY path can bring me to distance. I wanna prove that I DID NOT do anything wrong.

How do you measure success?

When I can afford everything I want? When I can have all the things I want? When people actually look up to me because I’m influential?

Or is it wrong to define success as a personal expectation fulfilled, living a happy life with enough earnings and no worries?

I may not have all those cool gadgets or the awesomest car or a huge ass house but I feel complete with my lauyah phone and my good old Kancil AND my awesome home because it provides me just the right thing I need.

Is it wrong to have my highest wish to be having to see my work be up around town by the time I’m 26?

Is it wrong to define successful as nothing more than making my family happy and to never see them be disappointed or cry?

Objectivism versus subjectivism?

I fear that I will spend like before, or much more if I go back to study. I fear the what ifs. what if I don’t get the full loan, what if I have to spend so much that at home there’s not enough to use and my parents refuse to let me know? What if they give me that hopeful “I’m know you can do it” look and hoped for the best and I failed them?

Inside of me I’m just so afraid I couldn’t even express myself to my besties or ~~then~~ boyfie whom used to be the only vessel I pour into?

All the insecurities I had and have scares the shit outta me.

No no irony here but I just wanna put this comic so badly in!

I've watched Burlesque last Friday and I got so freaking excited cause I was so hyped up on the movie after watching the trailer!

One thing about the movie was I thought the story was in the 30's like Moulin Rouge or later like 50s or 60s kinda oldies at first but I lol-ed when I saw the handphones and cars and the f**kin awesome house!

So yeah besides gotten fooled by all the cabaret can-can style, all in all the movie was one worth watching for the GOOD AWESOME catchy songs with powderful pipes (Christina Aguilera & Cher babeh!) and of course eye-candy Jack Miller (Cam Gigandet) ZOMG he's so hawt! ~~*did I mentioned he went NAKED in the movie?*~~ *Oh Cookies! weee!*

BESIDES all those eye candies, I love seeing how Sean (Stanley Tucci) and Tess (Cher) be with each other, they have awesome chemistry, just too bad he's gay or they’d be an awesome partner! LMAO

As much as this is a musical, it’s not like High School Musical ~~where Goddamned songs appears outta nowhere and people start breaking into dance~~ but more of Glee style; ie : story goes on, songs are sung when it is supposed to be sung : performance time etc and while the song is playing, they flash the story along so it doesn’t get all weird and ridiculously optimistic.

The movie have clichéd scenes of course but the presentation of the story line and they way it is expressed is interesting to watch.

As much as I was freezing cold and maybe alil hungry ~~I skipped dinner that night to watch this!~~ I just wanted to stand up and just dance to their songs! woots!

Check this and see if you get hooked!

I remember last week I’ve read this article by JasonMumbles on @thestar_rage (a once a week section on The Star newspaper ) ~~Read article here~~ about passion. Somewhat somehow the article kinda took me back into the past and made me think of those days when I started to blog. ~~yes for some strange reasons~~

I remember I got introduced to blogging in this High Achievers’ Program in college ~~where YES we actually had to take a COURSE on BLOGGING like wth~~ and as much as I’ve heard about blogging ~~it wasn’t that HOT yet in 2007 remember?~~

After that “course” I’ve went around my newly acquainted buddies with existing blogs and I was straight away hooked up on it. I remember I approached blogging in a very protective way. I basically tried to avoid ANY, I MEAN ANY information on me into the blog. I went with a nick name *cotton* with the site name cotton blurts ~~I know lame~~ and started blogging very constrictively; like when you just got to know a new friend and you don’t go “hey I had 5 ex boyfriends and I’m no longer a virgin! you?” right? ~~I’m just exaggerating the figure of speech but you know what I mean~~

But it wasn’t until the day I went blog hopping and I still remember I bumped into MissyCheerio ‘s blog and she in a way unlocked the blogger self of mine. Reading her posts made me see that it’s okay to be yourself and your blog CAN be that sanctuary for you to just write. And I like to read her blog cause it gives me the sense of personal feeling, as in she gives the friendly feel to us readers that it’s enjoyable reading it. And I want to give the same as well.

So I changed my blog address to http://stefanizlyf.blogspot.com and slowly released this locked up soul into the sanctuary I just found. But after awhile of words filled posts, it started to not feel expressive enough ~~since I can’t tahan to be reading AND writing essays all the time~~ I bumped into ANOTHER blog; which was AngelKein and her blog inspired me to see through things and capture it with my lens ~~though that time lens = my China handphone lens.~~ Oh I still remember THAT one post that awed me here. I did take photos before but her photos was among the ones that gave me the idea to do more and see simple things behind ordinary views

I particularly liked this one below.

Among my early photos you can see it at this post And mind you it’s taken with a VGA china phone camera *Beams proudly* though yes I edited them but usually it’s just tweaking the shadows and sometimes saturation ~~since the camera I had had a “natural” hue~~

Kinda like lomo feel aite? hahaha. I didn’t even know what lomo was when I did this.

Anyhoos I’m glad I came across these awesome blogs, got inspired, and went on with blogging for all these while. Hey! it’s never a bad thing to expand our network and connections and get to know more people.

Season of the Witch loves Swedish Balls

Thanks to Alrin and Nuffnang I've been invited to to watch the Premier Screening of Season of the Witch at e@curve one day earlier before the official release ~~Which is why~~ ~~Nuffnang~~ ~~always rawks~~ .

i watched the trailer on TV and I was like woah finally a movie that might make me feel scared or at least awe me?

woots!

Imma big fan of magic and sorcery fantasy fiction : ~~READ Harry Potter Fan~~ and I watched the Saw series in a marathon LAUGHING all the way.

Though the back half of the trailer kinda bleaky but it convinced me to be interested enough and when I heard that I could watch it for free ~~though it WAS last minute decision cause I was worried I couldn't make it after work~~ tadah! there I was rushing like mad after work just to go for the screening ALL THE WAY TO DAMANSARA

Oh and I finally know that Sunway Giza is NOT in Sunway.

Anyhoos, here's the summary of the show

In english, this story is basically about two knights who deserted their vow to the church after realizing the political manipulation of Jesus to kill and conquer find themselves stuck again to serve another church after being caught by sending this girl(who they claim to be ~~witchy~~ i mean, a witch) to the temple of far far away to perform "rituals", in order to save the people from the Black Plague ~~which i always thought it was pronounced as ("PLAK" instead of "PLEG"~~

Yes you'll see the time when Knights are awesome and Churches rules the world and where everybody basically mentions the words Jesus in EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE ~~like seriously~~

No offence though. I'm not attacking you Christians, I'm just saying how this movie portrays how dependant people were onto Jesus and how these "fathers" and apparently "heralds" manipulate the beliefs of there poor people and persuade people into doing horrible things.

okays enough of Moral Studies *cough cough*

ANYWAYS

as much as I expect this show to be good ~~note I didn't mention GREAT~~ I am left with disappointment only after quarter of the movie. Like seriously!

The supposedly "Kan Cheong" part also not kan cheong wan..

Nicolas Cage was so…. Dead.

I love Nicolas Cage, really but…

Though I love Ron Perlman. He has the funniest Duh expression and one liners, prolly he's the ONLY entertaining part that made me survive this movie!

And the funny masks that these "Healers" wear. reminds me of the fugly Oracle protector in 300

SPARTA!

Let's just summarize the movie to a 4/10. Download it and watch if you insist. Not worth the money spent unless you watch for the sake of Ron Perlman's and Claire Foy's acting or if you're Nicolas Cage's die-hard fan.. Plot very flat, no climax much, draggy in some parts.

Oh and I forgot!

2010 had been such a whirlwind to me where I was stuck in between so many decisions and I have not remembered any other years where I have to make such huge decisions ~~yesh i'm a kid at home, sue me!~~ So 2010 had been quite a headache and I've been tored apart like mad.

2010 was also a year where I've lost and found beautiful and ugly people ~~of cuz I mean physically. Really~~ and I've had my regrets on meeting and loosing so many people last year ~~so gotta get used to saying that XD~~ but somehow or rather I've noticed that in a way I've grown to learn more on the perspective of life and principles that really helps in being a happier person.

2010 I've had my FIRST job (as a promoter in the Crystal Shop) and also My first FORMAL JOB in the current office! I've never knew real office politics and mean girls rarw~ till I actually been in an office @@

2010 being over also means that I've been out of the studying world for ONE WHOLE YEAR. I've not used my calculator for a year, haven't read any chemical thingy for a year and haven't complaint about exams for a year. wow.

Whatever it is, 2011 is here and Imma make it another awesome year ahead! not forgetting not abandoning my bloggie which I love very dearly (it's gonna be your 4th year this year! ~~though I felt like I've been blogging for decades XD~~

I gotta go out for more events! last year I really toned down alot cause all of my ~~"drivers"~~ I mean friends started working already.. But since I've already have a license to drive AND a car.. ngehehehe... TIME TO TRAVEL! (Current level : still driving around Klang only @@)

Apparently I've lost the gift of expression cause I really have forgotten how to just release myself ~~hence the post like the one before this~~ . It's like CRAZY. I started with a path but I strayed halfway and got lost.

One way or another I've adapted bottling up my feelings that sometimes I don't know whether what I'm feeling is really that depressing or it's just some mood swing.

It's like those kinda days where you just broke up with your boyfie and it's difficult to get over him you cry your ~~balls~~ eyeballs out at night but suck it all up in the day.

Or like when you are so tored apart between two choices on whether should you do this or that and after firmly making a decision option A or B ~~whichever you didn't choose~~ haunts you back making you think twice on whether you've made a right choice and direction of life.

This problem is so annoying that I can't even express it to my best friends.

See how this is getting on my nerves?

Being judged by my family members, being questioned on my decision to dump my old line to the unknown, the reminders that if I stick to my old line, continuing the one chance I had, I'd be earning the leprechaun's pot of gold at the other end of the rainbow!

Well it's just that I've been browsing and blog hopping around and I noticed like tons of people speaking about their boyfies and/or girlfies and their love and/or bun buns ~~you get what i mean~~ and so I thought, hey! that's one area I haven't really covered yet ~~as in saying I haven't tried announcing / bragging / post photos of me and my boy/girlfie absurdly making out in weird angles~~. Cause this psycho is seriously OVERFED thanks to the trip to Melaka with non-stop ~~force feeding~~ food stuffing 24 hours a day ZOMG I could fill myself to death ~~well yes I'm being dramatic but then again~~ ZOMG-ness!

Me, sis, cousin-in-law and nephews and nieces!

See, our feeding schedule was like this:

1st day:
12.00pm: Lunch; Wantan ~~no not the ones i made but yeah~~ mee

3.00pm : reaches Melaka

4.00pm : joins in aunty nom-ing the chee cheong fun ~~this has lotsa literal translations : pork intestines powder, pressing intestines fun, press long long fun LMAO~~ (really, its like towel shaped strips made of rice flour) and chai bao (vege dumplings, awesome stuffs) adding on with rendang ayam (malay styled dry chicken curry) and homecooked Bah Kut Teh~~err... meat bone tea? XD~~ (chinese style Pork cooked with herbs)

7.00pm : went to Jonker Street, ate twister potatoes, curry fish balls, fried carrot cake, cocktail drink non-alcoholic wan lah *angel*, 100+

12.00am : reach home, aunt made us eat bah kut teh ~~AGAIN~~ with rice and all ~~i don't remember what I ate ady lah. I only remembered I SO FULL~~

DAY 2:

10.00am: woke up, drank nescafe, ate Loh Mai Kai (Glutinous Rice + Chicken) and pao

1.00pm : aunt cooked fried rice and ikan asam pedas (spicy sour fish) ~~which is super awesome I HAD TO add on rice~~

3.00pm : went to ~~one of the many~~ Aeon, walk around with the crazily active nephews

oh yeah twins!

, drank 100+ ~~again, I know~~

8.00pm : aunt tapao konnow kuey teow (kuey teow ~~I have no idea how to translate this~~ with black sauce)

DAY 3:
11.00am: Eats 15+ chicken rice Balls

12.45pm: Eats biscuits.

1.00pm : Eats MORE chicken rice balls! without chicken

2.00pm : Eats Rice with more asam pedas and rendang

3.00pm : drinks 2 and a half cup of nescafe

4.30pm : on the way home, bought and ate tuna sandwich and corn in a cup from seremban stop

8.30pm : eats curry yee mee.

So you see how much I've actually ate these 3 days! ZOMG!! I think if I stayed there for another week I'll become gigantic! @@

Can't imagine. Was NEVER hungry there. hahaha

So if anyone wants a "get-fat-trip" FIND ME! and we'll go stay in my Aunt's place in Malacca okay? LMAO

BEST part was the moon that I saw on the second day! ZOMG so the very syawal weh!

Though this is the best I could get. That also THANK GOD *kneels and bows* my cousin got a digicam. When I saw that moon in AEON, I almost CRIED! why? cause I don't have my camera to capture it!!!!

Yes I'm at home making wantans. Many many muchy many of them.

Ergh I HATE FLU!

Why is everyone flu-ing and fever-ing and cough-ing these days?
I mean it's RAYA for God's sake. The sick part comes AFTER Raya :{

But I promise I shall recover like waaaay soon before Raya really comes cause I so FREEEEKING wanna eat and drink and stuff myself with mad ass food!!!

*sigh*

Prolly like what she said, I guess after I let everything out my body just collapses and reset. However normal I want myself to feel I still feel that life plays me around so much that it's almost like it just wants me to give up on things but yet somehow because of how I think, I'd never do that. In contrary, I'll keep believing that everything's gonna be okay and it'll work out and I'll get what I deserve and be who I wanna be in the future.

It's just how you see it. A cup half full or half empty.

A spark that's on its start, or end.

I tried to fill an endless cup. Can I ever fill it? I guess I just have to wait till the cup holder finds the bottom before I could fill it for real :)

Waiting is an option. But we'll see how it goes. Choosing is a pain. Life changing decisions are a pain but a must. Fate brought this to us. What about what we bring to fate? Can we ever change them?

oh well, It's Raya for Pete's sake! Let bygones be bygones. Happy Eid Mubarak ~~in advance of course~~! I'll be looking forward for my lontong & nasi kandar & nasi tomato & rendang & ketupat & peparu lembu masak kicap & dhalca & whatever they offer my tummy! :D

It's the time of the year again where people start to wave the 4colored Jalur Gemilang all over the streets, houses, shops, cars, bikes, bicycle, bodies, heads singing the ~~lyrics changed and unchanged~~ songs of the independence which we all love like the Tanggal ~~seluar dan baju~~ Tiga Puluh Satu (translated as "the 31st" or the Keranamu Malaysia, translated as "For You Malaysia". I remember how we all "love" singing those songs during perhimpunan during school and While I was a kiddo, I'd wake up at 7am just to go watch the parade every year on the telly.

After many years, Merdeka passes by just as another holiday where we can sleep till the afternoon. And as we grew up, it became one of the best excuse to go out with friends and celebrate! Like how Malaysia had revolutionized and grew, the meaning of this special public holiday revolutionized too.

Imagine this situation, you were walking around the streets of Malaysia on Merdeka Day and bam! some reporter with some fancy cameraman comes and approaches you and asks you "So you know what day is today?"

You (Y):*feels so SS cause masuk TV, stands facing the camera at the best angle and smiles like a donkey* "Oh my! of course I do! like hell yeah! Definately!"

Reporter (R): *opens eyes widely, eyebrows up, maintaining the fake smile waiting for your answer* "well?"

R : ahahaha *fake forced laugh as well* "right. So are you proud being a Malaysian?"

Y : Of course! absolutely! No doubt at all! *whacks chest* I'm always proud to call myself Malaysian! I have the flag wrapped ALL around my car, inside my car, on my car seat, on my house windows, walls, room, bed, slippers, heck I even sewed a hybrid dress made of cheongsam, baju kurung and saree WITH the Jalur Gemilang. It's written ALL across my forehead! see!" *points at forehead and moves closer to the camera to get a "better view"* "see? see?"

R : "ohkay ohkay! I get it! right. ahohoho *forced laugh* So what defines you as a Malaysian then?"

Y : Oh! That. umm.. *monologues to oneself* "ohkays, lets see.. oh! I can use the usual ones lah.. ummm ohkays" *scripts dialogues* "Oh! the love for food of course! like we have those awesome mamak and nasi lemak and teh tarik! these food can't get at other place wan.. And I'm so darn friendly! like if I see those ang mohs on the streets looking lost I'd go ask them politely with my pleases and thank yous helping them with whatever I can even if it means that I have to offer them my place to stay! See I have the Malaysian spirit there mah!"

R : "wow thats ama..."

Y : "oh yeas oh yes! not forgetting ah, the manglish-ing that we use lea. Like ah the "lah"s and the "ba"s and the additional of the "-ing"s on words. So Malaysian leh!"

R : "right. okays. um.. so, any messages for the Malaysian youths today since it's Merdeka?"

I've Just watched V for Vendetta and I must say the movie is AWESOME! I've actually got that movie from my friend what? YEARS ago and stored it in my PC ever since. But today I've managed to watch it from my telly and you know what? Awesome shit. LOL

I mean look at the quote above! You try creating 1 sentence all with words starting with the letter 'V' AND at the same time carries such meaning.

What I like about the movie most is the way he uses all the quotes from Macbeth and all and they really do have awesome quotes if you have a greater level of observation *winks*

I don't exactly know how many of you read the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost ~~though for those who are above 18 this year I'm pretty sure you know this cause you LEARN it in ENGLISH for SPM in form 4!~~. Reading that during form four in class, we just studied it and answer the questions in exams without thinking that what it says might really happen to our life in the future.

And no, it's not the small small dilemma ~~if you can actually call them dilemmas~~ like whether to eat Bah Kut Teh or Chi Kut Teh for dinner, or whether you should wear the ~~neon-ic kryptonic~~ bright pink dress or the black simple one. It's actually two paths that can change your whole life, one bringing you waaaay up into the society, and one bringing you up up to the world of your own satisfaction.

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;"

Like SERIOUSLY I've sat and thought hard and asked and listened and considered and ~~squeeze my brain juices out~~ considered.

Really I AM very sorry I couldn't travel both. Both roads have their flowers and butterflies but then one of the road had lavender and black and purple gothic butterflies which has a direct link to my heart.

Yes I've made up my mind, and took the road less taken by majority. Knowing the situation you might think that I'm such and idiot for leaving the road that usually PEOPLE would take.

But I stood my ground, took charge of my life the way I should years ago.
I decided to be selfish for once and go for what I want.
I decided to take the lane which spells stephanie all the way ~~though I know it includes the words hardship, working-my-ass-off, no-luxurious-life and of such as well~~ instead of the road that is filled with promises and "guarantees" that sometimes seems too good to be true but then again, realistic enough.

I am hired as a STALKER!
well, at least for now lah cause for these 3 days I've been ~~stalking~~ following my senior at work around and basically know what she's doing all the time cause I hafta ~~copy~~ take over some of her jobs eventually!

So yeah I've just started working in a printing company as a Trainee Graphic Designer ~~honestly it's just something I came up with cause they don't really label people specifically. You're either design, marketing, admin, production or anything in between~~ HAHAHA yesh I know. But the point is I'm in the training process in the design department ~~where the whole department consist of ONLY me AND my senior~~ so I'm learning all the design process, ~~gan cheong rushing process~~, pre-printing process, ~~lotsa calls/fax/mailing process,~~ post-printing process, ~~waiting impatiently calling all the subcons to rush em to bring us the sample and moulds and plates process~~ @@

Seriously workplace is seriously a warfield! There's so many things to do and so little time left to! My first 3 days of work also I OT already @@

But then again, I like what I'm learning, how I'm progressing and how things are slowly being put into place right now. Yes I have like totally ZERO basic on Illustrator and stuffs but I'm happy on how I'm catching up on things ~~I finish a Ribena becker card assembly instruction. THO it's very cacat but to think it's gonna be used by these promoter people to assemble~~ hahahahahaha. I KNOW. Syok Sendiri-ness. LMAO.

Alritey, it's already 12AM so I gotta go get some rest for the war tomorrow! I have like 200++ address to type for a client's thank you card WTF.
